Question about JVC RX-6020V Receiver
I have a JVC RX-6020V. When i put in a DVD, i get all the backround noise, but not voices. I looked at all the connections, and they look good to go. Not sure what to do.
You might also check the audio stream that you player is using and make sure that you are playing the voices. i had this problem once when i started using VLC media player on my PC (i run my PC threw this amp)

Sounds to me like you have not got the cener speaker working properly. Try another surround mode, then check the speaker by switching it with another known good one just to make sure i the problem is the speaker or the receiver. You can also do the speaker test and make sure the center speaker is set to be turned on in the menu settings.
Here is a link to the owners/operation manual and you can find any information you need to check your receiver out. If you never are able to get it working, you need to take it to a service center to be checked out.

A "FixYa!" rating would be appreciated, and let me know if you need any more help,
