Need more info on the model and year of the bike whether it has a generator/mechanical or solid state regulator or has a stator/solid state regulator. and did you just fire it up let it run and shut it off the other day or did you ride it for a while and then shut it off? Could be a charging problem or a starter/solenoid problem.

I tried to start my Sonoma, but no crank. Lights, battery seem fine, but depressing the clutch yield no crank

Make sure you push down hard on the clutch just for grins then, does the engine just click, click, click? If it does the battery is not dead but it is down enough so that it wont start your car. If all the above is true/right whatever all you need to do is charge the battery. If the above is NOT true/right I need more information. Text me back and I\'ll try to help.......................Bob

Why is my bike clicking and wont start?

make sure you got your terminals tight. then if so its still your battery not charged, just push it til you get jogging speed jump on put it in second pop the clutch it will start let it run about 20 to 30 mins should be enough charge built in your battery to restart it, if not your battery is bad even though its fairly new could be low on water inside it !

Katana wont start

You're most likely looking at a dead battery (try jump leads)

A bad starter relay (short out the terminals on top of the relay and see if it turns over)

Or a dead starter motor (service or replace or if it's sticking try rocking backwards and forwards in gear to unstick)

My electric start wont work now, after my bike was taken off the road for repair the electric start started to click & now wont work, need help to sort it

sounds like your battery is dead. You may have enough volts to turn on lights, but not enough amps to turn the starter motor. put a volt meter on the battery and see how far the volts drop when you try to start. my guess is too low. Replace the battery, or have it tested; it probably wont take a charge.

My acer notebook wont charge all the way it stops at 87% and it wont charge anymore.

hello
The battery is starting to be dead. one or couple of battery cells gone dead, need replacement. if the battery is giving enough backup time then no need to replace it immediately. let the battery gone dead, sooner or latter, then you can replace or repair it,
good luck

Bike runs but when i try to start it the battery is dead

Do a voltage test at the battery to see how it is charging, it sounds like it is not... You should charge at 14.5 volts. Start the bike with the voltmeter connected and see what it does for voltage drop and see how it recovers after it is started. If it doesn't come up in voltage possible regulator rectifier or worse case bad stator.

Starting problem

Sounds like you might have cooked the battery. Try with a new one, start the bike and see how it runs. Hopefully you didnt fry anything else.
