Question about Dishwashers
I have the HDWE12/SS manual, the following may help, or not!
According to my manual error 4 means it is "overfilled", and the possible cause is "too much inlet water". I doubt that is much help but that's all the manual says.
Error 2 is "longer draining time" with a possible cause of "the installation position of the drain pipe is too high"

There is a small switch on a polystyrene float in between the bottom of the dish washing cabinet and the bottom floor.. its purpose is to switch off the appliance in the event of water leaking down into the electrical area... if this switch is lifted error 4 occurs within seconds, .... to clear, drain water, power down for 30seconds, power back up... in my case the fitting that takes water to the top rack was broken and the water leaked down the inside of the washer and flooded the bottom... i found the best thing to do was to remove the left side cover for inspection. thats how i discovered the facts listed above.. please don't ask for more advice as this is ALL i know..
