You are going to have to load software that will permit your computer to recogniur cam coder. You can search Samsung's web site for viable software to add to your computer. Or find your manual and see if the included software is made for your operating system

First you should install the driver of the camera according to your operating system, it's better to get the latest from the manufacturer web site, in this case Samsung.

If you are running windows vista this will be the problem.There are no drivers for vista firewire..If other windows then try samsung support for required driver.

you can download the software, manual and driver here on this site and install it to your pc so that your device will recognize it. hope that helps!
