Question about Medion MD-1704 PC Desktop

Medion PC Hi guys The on/off button on my Medion PC is slowly flashing on and off, and my PC is dead. It won't switch on and it won't switch off. If I switch it off at the wall and then back on again it just goes straight back into the above state of limbo.

    Hi

Thanks for the reply. I went back to the PC and it was fine, I didn't have to do anything!

I had previously tried everything from holding the button in for a few minutes to switching the PC off for a few minutes, but neither of them worked.

Once again, thanks for your reply, it is very much aoppreciated.

    Very best regards

    Geordie

HI,

Did you try unplugging all the cord from the back and then try reconnecting them? The problem then it can be two things either the a bad power cord or SMPS.So you can try replacing the power cord with a new one and if you still face the problem then the only solution is to get it repaired.

Goodluck,

Hi the power button on my laptop medion eraser P6661 is flashing all the other led are off and it won't switch back on... please help... I bought it less than two weeks ago...!

It is in Sleep Mode. Press and hold the Power button.

If that doesn't work, remove the battery, count to 10 and replace.

Reply but COMMENT under my post if you need further help.

Power button repair

Hi Feizal, it could simply be the power button that is faulty, and does not release properly after switching on the PC. Try removing the wires from the power button to the mother board, then simply short out the 2 pins with a screwdriver where the power button plugs in.
If this does not solve your problem, it may be the power supply that is faulty. Let me know if this has solved your problem.

Regards,
Graeme.

normally, it would work with the files in the download. You have to copy it to your local drive and connect your program with these files.

Computerwill not start

if you can't even access the bios, the first thing i'd do is to try and reload it. open your computer, find your motherboard, and find the little cmos switch.change it's position, wait a for 30 secs, the flip it back in the previous position. if your computer still won't start, then your motherboard is prolly faulty and you need to get a new one.

your ram can be removed by first pressing down the little switches on either side of the thingy that holds the ram, and then gently removing it. when you put in the new ram, make sure your pc is placed so that you're putting the ram in from above. then just gently squeeze it in and flip the switches back. you should hear a click.
