From the outside, the unit seems to be running fine. Inside, the freezer is not freezing and the refridge is not cooling, both are at room temp. I cleaned the coils front and back at the bottom of the unit...

Check the back of the freezer and see if it is iced up in there sometimes you get an ice buildup and have to defrost the whole thing to get it to start working

My refrigerator still isn't cooling. Should I be concerned everything seems to be working fine the air just isn't cold enough. I plugged it in at 530pm yesterday

Hi,

One of the reasons that your refrigerator may not cool properly is the condenser fan malfunctioning. The condenser fan is located on the bottom of the unit. Inspect the fan to make sure that the blades are in good condition and that it is turning with no obstructions. If the fan is not working or is damaged, simply disconnect the wiring and the fan by unscrewing it and replacing it with a new unit.

Dometic Americana Freezer/Fridge not cooling

The recall has nothing to do with your fridge not working. Your cooling unit has gone bad. And yes you can get a new fridge for a few hundred more than a new cooling unit. And sooner or later PPL motorhomes will run out of their cheap stock. The fridges they have are out of production. I know I am a Dometic dealer.

GSS22KGMC WW side-by-side refridgerator not cold anymore

I have no idea to this day, what caused the complete lack of cooling in my freezer and refridgerator. However, it seems to be working fine now. All I did was turn the compressor and fan totally off, let it rest for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. It seems to have "re-booted the system, and now everything is working normally. The ice-maker is once again making ice! It has been three days or so now, and so far, so good!

No cooling

"You forgot the "first rule , check to see if everythings is working! If the filter was dirty , then you skipped the second line of defense to prevent dust from going into the vents is the squirrell cage blades. Air flows thru the filter first,,,2ond, thru the squirrell cage...& 3rd thru the coils last. Make sure the outside is working fine.
