My machine won't drain; a service tech replaced the pump and the machine still won't drain. It appears to spin and agitate, but at the end of the cycle, there is still water in the tub. Any other suggestions?

Re: Kenmore elite front loading machine
Even replacing pump is not always the answer,in fact most of the pumps are replaced when they are just clogged.Dont waist any more money.Did the servicer check inside the hoses. In the drain cycle can you here a pump running>?

The machine, based on the error code, is made by Frigidaire for Kenmore. Error code E20 pertains to a slow or no drain problem which can be due to a clogged/kinked drain hose, blocked drain filter/coin trap, or a broken drain pump. The link below provides the detailed troubleshooting procedure of this error code.
We experienced the same thing. I was able to restart and locate the noise to the water pump. After disassembling the water pump found the impeller shaft sliding out. For some reason this shaft will not stay in place. Had to order a complete pump assembly as the electric motor is not available.
F11 is a serial communication error. Communication between the main
board and the motor control board is not being sent correctly. This
could be a bad main board, motor control board or motor itself. The
testing can get pretty involved. Try putting the machine in a self test
mode and see if the error clears. Press Cancell, then by pressing the
drain spin button once on the left side then move to the spin speed
button the the right. Press this button until no-spin lights. Press the
prewash button 4 times. C00 should appear in the display. Let it run
it's tests, there will be 8 of them and end up on C08. If this doesn't
work, it's best you wait for the service tech.
while F09 is the water pump. It usually means something is clogging it. Take
the front cover off of the washer and the water pump is located right
in the middle front. Unscrew the cover to the pump and make sure there
is nothing clogging it.
