How do i install CanoScan N1220U without using the software disk

JULIANFIX:

I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am not able to travel or walk distances due to my illness. I needed to scan important documents to receive prescribed medications for my breathing condition. I could not install a scanner to send the prescription for my medication since the CD-ROM is broken.

Thanks to your help, I installed the scanner by myself and now I can get my medications, follow my treatment, and most important, CONTINUE LIVING.

I cannot find a Canoscan N1220Udriver for Mac OS

Canon has indicated that N1220U will not be supported under Mac OS X 10.6.x (Snow Leopard). The only practical way to continue using the scanner under Snow Leopard is to buy the third party scanner software, VueScan (US$39.99).

Can't get it to work on my new iMac

You may have to go to Canon's website and download the Mac package for it. Some, but not all, installation disks contain software for PCs and Macs but either yours does not or the disk has become unreadable - a problem I have found many times.

CanoScan N1220U Scanner properly installed but not workin

This doesn't do "one button" scans, but I just downloaded "VueScan" for my 10.5.4 Intel Mac and the demo is working great with my Canoscan N1220U.
