If you can locate the wires to the element, simply pull them off, and tape the ends of the wires to make them safe, make sure you mark them so you know where they go back.It will probably invlve you having to remove the rear panel to gain access.

Dear, how it has broken. if the line are more than normal and is just on casing then u can change the casing but if the lines are in screen itself then u have to change the screen or try to buff a little bit. try it by the way...
