Hello! I am trying to solve my pc problems right now. I currently have a mpga478b motherboard. There is no display on the monitor. The hard drive is also not functioning because it doesn't have a red light on. The processor's fan is working. I have tried everything like cleaning the memory, video card, processor, heat sink, checked the monitor cables and IDE cables but same result. I hope you can help me. Thanks! Kris

Change the power-supply.
Although it is putting-out the correct voltage to spin a fan,
it could possibly _not_ be putting out the other necessary voltages.

I booted my PC, but there is no display in the monitor. Tried with the other monitor but it all seems the same. The board have power but no display.

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive
Test the leads that attach to your ((hard drive from the motherboard)) or replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your ((motherboard to hard drive))
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections needs its connections continue its cycle and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope this helps

My Foxconn motherboard M61PMV suddenly stopped booting up. No beeps, no monitor but computer powers up. Before this everything was working fine and the computer was shut down normally. Please help me solve...

Will your system come up in safe mode? Try a shutdown and unplug the tower. Plug the tower back in and see if it will come up in safe mode. If it does, go to "control panel", find "device manager" and right click on it. Find "display adaptors" and click on box at right(has a little + inside), it should drop down your device. right click o it and you sjhould see 'enable" or "disable". If it says enable click on that ad you should be good to go. Make sure your connections between tower and monitor are good.

My display do not tern on

Hello,
If you unplug the signal cable from the mainboard, does the monitor display the message "no signal" or any similar? If yes, then try to unplug connected components to the mainboard (hard drive, optical unit) and see if pc starts. If no change, unplug power cord and remove the CMOS battery for about 20 seconds then try again.
