When changing rim sizes, you need to manage the "height" of the tire to compensate. Usually folks are shifting to larger rims so to keep the circumference the same, a lower profile tire is used. The tire pressure is determined by the tire itself so you will need to look at the actual tire you should see numbers like 16/205/60r and another number like 44psi you need the number with psi following it and that will tell you your Pounds per Square Inch needed for the correct pressure

truck tires and car tires differ more on the load rating of tire. Go to google and type in 'UTQG'. In the search results select the 'How stuff works' link, they have an excellent explanation of tire ratings. Check tire-easy.com and tirerack.com for tires to fit your truck. I strongly recommend that you do not use passenger car tires on your truck, the soft construction of these tires will make your truck unstable while driving. Hope this helps, let me know.

Ad air into your tires (evenly). After that you need to reset the tire pressure (cpu) to read your tire pressure accurately.
Underneath your steering wheel is a button. Press and hold this button for about 5 seconds then release it. The "check tire pressure" like should start blinking and then turn off. You need to drive at least 8 miles before the computer will let you know for sure if you need to put more air in one of your tires. Also the check tire pressure light only comes on if your tires are about 8 psi apart. Hope this helps.

Seance the car manufactures most likely did not produce the tires that are on the vehicle they will only give there recommendations as to the correct tire pressure. Always look around the perimeter of the tire and it will tell you the proper pressure for that tire. hope this helps. Good luck.

What was the problem you faced when you tried to lower the tire pressure? Why would you need to lower the tire pressure unless 1 tire was over filled if it was low to begin with? You do NOT need to change the tire pressure for summer or winter months. The tire pressure amount should be the same all year.

Front and rear tires are different. Check your owners manual for the correct tire sizes.
