Program won't download to computer

My computers hard drive went out and I had to order a new hard drive. Once I intalled the new hard drive with Dells help, I could get the software from the HP PSC 1610 All-in-one to download to my computer. Do you have any ideas?

How to get software to download camera

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have a new MP250 printer and i need to download the software, but my hard drive is damaged please give me an alternate way of downloading this program onto my computer.

Insert a pendrive in the USB port of your PC and download. While downloading windows will ask you whether to run or save the program. You can run the program without saving it. Or you can save the program and run it later when you have the time. When it asks run or save select save. It will then ask you where. You specify that save to the pen drive. Or,if your computer is not running then take the pen drive to a friends and download there. Or if you have a phone with GPRS functioning then download to the phone and later connect the phone to the PC and install from there.

I just bought a new dell 580's and it won't reconize my printer a Dell 922. isn't it aplug and play?

You need to install the program from the CD that came with the printer OR download the software from dells website and install it.

Even thought its a dell machine and a dell printer, the drivers still need to be installed for it to work.

if you don't have the cd you can obtain the program from http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/

I had format my Fs-4 Pro HD, and I need that

Hello

My apologies if this message finds you long after posting this problem , but I am currently working through a backlog of problems that never got answered and hopefully this info can still be of use if not now possibly in future.

Please download Disc Digger HERE. This is a free tool you can use that works very well and there is no installation required, just run the program once you downloaded it.

Once you have connected the memory disk / hdd to the computer , run the program.

On the program , select the dig deep option for accidentally deleted files or dig deeper for a formatted drive. Then select the disk you want to do the recovery on and run the program.

The data will be displayed and you can recover it from there. This will only work if the card has not been used since the data was lost. Save the files to a location on the computer hard drive and not back to the disk it is recovering from as this will overwrite the other pictures that still needs to be recovered.

Some of the properties of the files may become lost in the recovery but the pictures should be fine.

You will also only be able to recover certain file types using this method.

Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.

Kind Regards
Andrea

I recently changed to another computer Dells, now

have you installed the drivers and software into the dell that you installed into the hp when the printer was new? did the HP come with the printer already installed?
this might be as simple as downloading the drivers from the hp website for your printer , then install them in the Dell.
keep in mind that if you are using a USB cable, dont connect the printer to the computer until prompted to do so during the driver installation..
Post here again if you need further assistance..

WILL NOT TURN ON TO RUN SETUP

Try to unplug the usb cable from the back of the computer, reboot the computer, once the computer is back on, plug the usb cable into a different slot to see if the computer will automatically locate the drivers for it. If that doesn't work check the plug that you have the cord in at and smell it to see if something shorted out, if it smells like burnt rubber, you may need to use a different plug.

I would like to download primo pdf to my printer options. I did download it--not real sure which location to save it in though. I went to add it to my printers and it was not there. Do I need to save it...

once the software is downloaded and you choose to print, instead of selecting your printer change it to primo pdf and it will save it to the selected place that you have chosen within the primo settings.

Primo will load as a program, it is a virtual printer. Load the program it will load to C: drive as a program, once it has loaded successfully restart your computer.

Hope this helps

Cannot retrieve application list

My updates to the printer automatically downloading to a C:// drive for my hard drive which was labled H:// after the format. I had to reformat the computer partitions after backing up my hard drive to disk and relabeling the Hard drive back to C:// once the updates were installed to the correct drive the scanner downloaded the needed updates and began working. if anyone needs to know how to reset your partitions in the hard drive, all you do is after inserting your boot/install windows disk at the time of asking were to install windows a setup window will appear on the screan. at that time you may install another version of windows or delete the partition by pushing F2 to format, or in any case at the bottom will lable correct button to push to format the desired partitions. REMEMBER ONCE DOING THIS ALL YOUR INFORMATION ON THE COMPUTER WILL BE DELETED! So I strongly urge you do back up all information. THIS INCLUDES ALL OF YOUR DRIVERS! if you do not back up your drivers you will loose essential data to run your computer again including your network controller adapter<-- this is needed to get online it is basically your ethernet/ internet port which you may want especially to download the new drivers to other programs Video drivers etc. The Whole process is a couple of hours to complete but if you can take the risk in trying this you'll save yourself time and money getting ripped off to have someone else do it. Where by the way charges are incured with system diagnostic runs to make sure places of computer programming and system tech supports are covered if anything is to go wrong with the computer. then youll laugh when you see the bill after not having a computer for a week!
