I tried that option already with no success, any key still opens the media player, in addition to the keyboard issue, the touchpad is not responding, I am hoping it is related to the curerent problem :(

Acer has requested the laptop be sent in for repair, they are certain that there is problem with the keyboard's internal workings. We will keep our fingers crossed that they fix it asap. Thank you all for your help :)

DRIVEDELL LATITUDE E64OO WONT BOOT STAYS BLANKSCREEN ADDED NEW H

Please clarify your problem so that I can be able to help you appropriately. Please. I do get the idea that the computer doesnt boot and it stays on a black screen. But maybe just to give you a tip, that has to do with the hard drive. That means the operating system that is there has been corrupt or some files are missing. or it could mean that the boot sector of that hard drive has been corrupt by a virus. There are so many ways of fixing this, but i would recommend that you remove the Hard drive, then slave it(connect it to another computer that is working) a desktop, preferably, so that you can be able to see it in that computer. This is a very technical part and if you are not sure of what to do, then you have to get a technician to help you, but is is quiet simple. That means you have to have another desktop computer besides your laptop. Remove the hard drive from your laptop and connect it to the desktop, so that it can be seen in the MY COMPUTER of the desktop.
Once you achieve this stage, press Wndows Key + R to open the command prompt. Inside the command prompt, type the following command
CD\ (then press enter) - please take note of the Drive letter of the Laptop's hard drive, for example E:, F of D etc

E: (then press enter)

CHKDSK (then press enter)

wait until the process is done.

Remove the hard drive and put it back to the laptop and see if it will boot.

If it doesnt, then connect it back to the desktop and make a data back up of the drive.
Right-click on the MY COMPUTER and go to MANAGE

When you are there, go to DISK MANAGEMENT and right click on the laptop hard drive and format it. When you succeed, take it back to the laptop and install a new operating system.
If you have no idea on how to do this please follow me on this page and i will help to guide you through but after you have tried the above methods

Sticky keys how do i fix it?

Hi Dgr Welcome to fix ya !

The sticky keys are part of Windows Ease of Access Center Accessibility program.

1. The easiest way to enable/disable the sticky keys is to press the "Shift " key five times. This will turn on/turn off the program.

2. The second way is to press the Windows logo key + U at the same time. This will open the Ease of Access Center. Then select the link that reads" Make the keyboard easier to use."

3. Under the section that reads, "Make it easier to type" you have the option to enable the Sticky Keys or a link to Set Up Sticky Keys. Select whether you want to set up the Sticky Keys or just enable them if you have previously set them up. If setting them up for the first time, remember to click "Apply" after making your selections.

Hope this helps. If you need further assistance, just leave a comment at the end of this solution and I'll be glad to help. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Por que me sale an internal error in the initialization stage

Initialing stage is indication that the computer is undergoing restore to system default. First, at which stage where the computer stops performing restore is indication that disk is either scatched or dusty requiring cleaning. Power shut the computer completely from the shut off button because attempting to press the disk button instantly would cause impact that may damage the restore disk. Power on the computer from the power on button area. Immediately press the disk button to before the computer attempts to capture the media in disk driver. The computer disk driver should pop open immediately to make available the disk. At which point, inspect the restore disk for scratches or dust by simply cleaning with clean tissue paper. Also, observe the disk for compartibility with the computer systems. For example a computer performing on windows XP would least require update restore with disks that are Windows 7. Discontinue restore if realised that the computer is inconpartible to the disk attempting to derive restoration from. If the condition was due to dusty or scratches, simply cleaning the disk should make commenceable the restore process.

When I turn on my MSI M510C notebook - I get this message "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" and cannot do anything else. Can someone t

I've read this problem due to new hardware interferences with desktop computers, all they had to do is change a few pins around on the harddrives.. since this is a laptop, and is quite difficult and dodgy to access the hardware, the only other suggestion is to reinstall windows with a recovery disk, or windows CD-ROM.

Hope this helps :)

Media center unable to open messenger

The problem can not and will not be solved by a reinstall of the operating system or a reinstall of messenger. The issue comes from a security update from Microsoft. Go to this link to a blog written by a member of the microsoft Media Center Security Team, it has a couple of easy solutions to the problem. Click on the Registry fix downloads for whatever option you want to use. The fix, in a nutshell, is to either ban the security update from media center OR to stop messenger from being used in media center. Personally, I have no need for messenger let alone using it in media center. Good luck!
