Check for a loose bulb or faulty door switch. Sometimes a bulb can fail and the filament can reconnect to work at a higher wattage before failing completely.

I beleive this model has an electric igniter, You may have to change this they sometimes just wear out, or it's just simply your pilot light is out and you need to relight it, hope this helps.
Your problem sounds to be fairly simple and common, it appears your ignitor has failed. Without suppling a model number I can not supply you with a part number you need. Good luck..
sounds as if your bake igniotr has gone , or is going bad, if you remove the lower tra in oven cavity it will expose the "glow coil ignitor" after removing the power source you can unscrew and remove the ignitor form the burner bar and bring to local repair company for replacement ignitor, 50-90 bucks depending on which part it is, essy enought repair
you can go to www.searspartsdirect.com . and input your model numver to view the exploded parts diagram.it is sometimes diffcult to give great advise with out visually looking at the machine
There is no real way to calibrate the thermostat. Most ovens have the same problem. By lowering the setting slightly will help get a closer temperature. Sometimes similarthermostats are substituted and may not be exactly the same as the original that came with your oven. Hope my trying to answer your question was helpful, Thanks, Sea breeze
It could be that the sensor wire that controls the main gas valve is out of position. It should sit in the pilot light flame.
Look, and adjust if needed.
If it's ok, then you need a replacement main gas safety valve.
This should only be fitted by qualified personnel.
They do give up eventually after years of heating, and fail safe.
