Hi, I
had the same problem and went searching - all the feedback suggested
that something may be stuck of blocking the paper path. Took the tray
out, checked underneath etc - and yes - the problem was a couple of
sheets of paper stuck inside. Was able to retrieve these by accessing
them from the rear of the printer - and when plugged back in it started
up OK!
I believe the cause here was that a print job was sent to
the printer while it was also being used to copy stuff - though i cant
be sure of this. Either way, it was a blockage that cased the problem.
Error code [6000] or light blinking 3 times.
1. Smearing or scratches on the LF encoder. Please clean the LF encoder.
2. Foreign material or paper debris in the LF drive. Please remove any foreign materials if encounter.
3. Check cable connection.
4. Replace LF encoder or Logic Board.
