Question about Dell 2 Button Mouse 6u226

Left click not working

My mouse has stopped working. It was fine last night when i went to bed, this morning, it is not ok. When I restart my comp, the mouse draws a square when it is moved. The left click does not work, and the right click brings up the regular box. I have tried to unhook it and rehook it, restarted the comp a couple times, still having the same problem. Did it just die?

This problem of yours has a simple solution:just change the left push to on switch.desolder the original one, get a switch from the local electronic market of the same type(if possible OR another one which will b placed correctly on d pcb and which ensures that d click works)
The problem is that the spring in d switch has lost it's physical properties, which is a aging problem.
Solder the new switch, and there u go,click click click, all working fine.

The part that goes into the USB port is the mouse receiver. If it has a button on it, press it and then tuen your mouse over and press the button on the bottom of your mouse. This is the reset/connect button.

Normal 0 Go to Control Panel and click on the Mouse icon. Then the mouse properties will appear showing the mouse buttons. In the Left column is the button settings. The bottom one is the Right Button, which is set for Magnify. Whenever you hit the Right Side button the magnifier will turn on. To turn it off, hit the Right Side Button and off it goes. You can change any of the button settings by clicking on the drop down.

It's not working right....

The BenQ M310 mouse needs to "sync" with the USB receiver. Need to push the two buttons at the same time, or maybe the one in the mouse first then push the button in the USB receive so the two can "sync" to each other. This may solve this problem. Good luck!
