Well to reboot it just turn it off and then back on again.

during the update i got for it a day ago it asked if i wanted to reboot and it automaticly reboot itself. if you can't turn your psp off or on, check the battery or get a new one.

Do some research on your router you are looking for "MAC address" page or option within the router settings. Your device should come with a MAC address, try entering the devices MAC Address into the router page, apply the settings. Router should reboot and after rebooting your device you should have a constant internet connection.
I own a linksys router that will only allow internet to other devices by entering the devices MAC ADdress into the router.

Reboot it by sliding the power button to off and holding it there. If it still doesnt shut down pull the battery out then hold the power button for 10 seconds. Put battery back in and reboot. Also check to make sure that there are not any updates available for your PSP

You do have custom firm ware ( CFW ) if you have memory card then you can get the 6.1 software from the web site and put it on your memory stick then put it back into you psp reboot it while holding the right triger gose into recovery mode then exit out i do this when my psp bricks its a safe reboot.
then instal the new update

How do i reboot my psp?

Have you tried turning on, but then hold the power switch down for around 10-15 seconds or until the power light simply turns off, no flashing. If not, then you should jump on the internet and look for a so-called Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick. They will actually install custom firmware on your PSP which you can remove later on, but if you use those, it should unbrick the PSP, so you can use it again.

Cannot get games to play-where is the "OASS Button"?

Try this:

1) You must first backup ur data on your memory stick to your PC. Mainly the saved games data. ( directory is PSP\SAVEDATA) 2) Format the memory stick using the PSP format tool in system settings...not your PC. 3) In System Setting UNCHECK or UNSELECT "UMD Cache" this must be off!!!! 4) Connect your psp via USB cable 5) Copy your game saves / data back to your psp remember >> PSP\SAVEDATA . 6) Do a hard reboot of your psp ie hold the power switch for 3 seconds and it will reboot. 7) Your UMD games should now work with no probs.

This is not my solution, just a solution found on a messge board from others having the same problem
