Change or Screws making noise?

My machines are just a year old. Now it sounds like there is money down in their or screws bouncing around. Only makes this noise when water is changing cycles. Anyone have any ideas?

I also have coin clanging in my OASIS. I took the stainless steel tub out and found clothing and coin in the back of the clear plastic basket that was plugging the drain area. I took off the drain filter and found a coin blocking one of the two outlets. I believe coin gets into the pump, mine has a leak. I am ordering a new drain pump to replace it, I will probably find more coin stuck in the pump.....

If you want to check for coins, debris, etc you first need to open the top of the machine (not just the lid) There are 2 clips in the sema between the front and the top panels (they are green when you shine a flashlight on them) Push the clip towards the rear and lift repeat with the other side. Now there is a peice of plastic on the top (tub ring) Push down while pulling the clips free. Finnally, remove the plastic cap in the center of the basket. There is a bolt underneath that holds the basket down. Once you remove it, lift the basket out. The other alternative is taking the rear panel off. There are two pumps on both the lower right and lower left hand corners. Once you drain the water out, you can check for foirgn objects in there as well.

GE Harmony Dryer makes Loud Vibrating noise

If you can open the walls of the dryer up check all screws and bolts that hold things together. Some times they will vibrate loose causing parts to make a vibrating sound against the frame itself.. Eventually the loose screws will just keep getting looser. Even the screws on the walls of the unit should be tightened That could cause a lot of noise.

When the drum gros around, it sounds as if a coin

Hi The noise you are hearing is coming from the baffles inside the drum. These are attatched to the drum with screws from the outside of the drum. Something as gotten inside these baffles and causing the moise.
Remove the front ot top panel (Depending on what model) and take the screws out so the baffle releases.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

I have a whirlpool duet washer that is making very

It sounds like basket support failure. How old is the machine? They usually **** at around 5 to 6 years. Unless you are going to fix it yourself or it's under extended warranty, junk it.

The repair requires a complete teardown of the washer. two to six hours labor depending on tech skill level.

GE dry is making a noise like loose change is rolling around

There may be change rolling around in it.
Remove the top. Take the screws out of the drum baffles and remove the coins from inside the dryer drum baffles.
When replacing them, tighten them well to help prevent coins from getting in there.

Noisey dryer

Peace bumbabob,

Huuum t your service!

1-it may be the belt squealing or high pitched noises telling you it wants to go!
2- It more than likely is the rolling suspension that the drum spins on! I've seen the older models with one of 3 wheels that the drum rolls on is worn and wobbling or screaming or screeching etc.
3- I've seen also a few times that the motors heat shield, a simple piece if tin with two screws or bolts holding it down was "loose" and vibrating causing a loud metal squeal noise all the time or intermittently!!
If I were there hands on I could fix it!

Only a trained laundry tech can make the electronic diagnoses.

Unfortunately, another point to consider!!
How old is the appliance?

If the appliance is 10 years old or more you it may not be advisable to put good money into bad!
New appliances are so much more efficient today that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!!
Water,Electric and detergent! And put money back in your pocket!
The new appliance will pay for itself in only a few years!

You will be fine

Noise sounds like loose change or screws.

You probably have something in your pump. Remove the lower front panel (3 #20 torx bit screws) In the bottom, middle there will be a large white pump. I usually remove the screw holding it in so I can get the edge of a bucket underneath it. Once you rotate the knob in the centercounter-clockwise and the water drains out, remove any forign objects.
