Question about Maytag Washing Machines
Vibrations are a problem with all machines in the spin cycle. First, try the machine without clothing and run it through a full cycle. If it doesn't vibrate...we've eliminated damaged equipment. Now, run with just a lightly packed load. If it's okay...the issue is related to excess loading of clothes or the fact that they distributed badly in the prior wash cycle. This can happen any time to any machine. Try re-arranging them.
What else you can do:
Make sure the machine is on a level surface that is FIRM ...seems you may have done that but make sure that the machine itself is level (use a spirit level to check!) with all 4 legs firmly touching the surface. To test, push on the top side edges of the machine to try to 'rock' it. It MUST NOT move. Some machines are more intolerant than others to imbalance. I doubt the shock absorbers you mention are the problem. If you can't get satisfaction with these steps, your dealer may be your only option.
