Question about Computers & Internet
Yes, it did work before. In fact, it was working during the day, but then when I tried to use it in the evening it started failing. I tried talking with someone at Linksys, to no avail. Although I did say it had been working, he didn't seem to get that. The idea that it might be the antennas seems much more reasonable that the solutions he was suggesting (which included trying various things on the laptops that used to work with it).
I needed to have something working, so I ended up purchasing a different router for now. Perhaps at some point I can try switching it to the G setting (although one of my PCs only has a B card). For now, I'll use the new router, which works fine.

Did it work before? There may be a problem with the antennas, and is there any difference changing the band from B to G?
