PIXMA MX700 Error Code u072

-   same thing everythign was fine tiul changed out my black cartridge then kept getting the U072 error and telling me the one magenta cartridege in not installed in place... but it is and is full take all out and put pack many times about to throw out the window! When take black cartridge out everythign fine, as soon as put back not touching anything else I get an erro again.. FRUSTRATING!!-   jrad24

-   I have the same problem. It started after I changed the Black cartridge, but now it thinks the other three are in the wrong place or empty (Error U072), but they are all full and in the right slot. Have re-set them several times and cycled power on the printer, but always the same. Now I get an Error 5100.-   caboos

-   My problem is similar. I have new ink in the tanks. All lights are red. When I close the lid, the red light on the yellow ink goes off. I've tried re situating the tank, cleaning the electrodes, adding a drop of yellow ink from a refill kit, but nothing helps. -   larkjgb

-   What is the solution to this problem?? error is "Some ink tanks are not installed properly" Have reinstalled numerous times so that all lights are on and not blinking...when i close cover, i get the error and all 3 color inks have blinking lights...ink is new so not out of ink...please help!!-   cbart115
