LCD screen not working

There are horizontal lines missing on the LCD screen. You can't really make out what it says because of it.

Try a hard reset first. Remove batteries for about 10 minutes and reinsert fresh ones. If the lines still appear, there is a problem with the LCD screen. Contact Logitech support for an RMA.

My olevia tv sparked immediately I put it on ,and refuse to turn on.

Sounds like LOT arcing. Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here.

LCD not working

Hi, This is a known issue for some Harmony remotes.. the LCD screens go blank after a while. You can try updating the firmware by clicking 'Downloads' at the top of tyhe software, but chances are you will have to contact Logitech. They are really good wne it comes to replacing the remote, and if the remote is out of warranty, they may give you a discount offd a new one.

You have poor solder joints, (called ring cracks), somewhere on the foil side of the board... The slap and tickle method you use brings them back together temporarily then heat expands them and they separate again... Nedd to pull the board, find them, and solder them up..

Fine tuning grid on my Samsung HDTV with remote.(BP59-00048)

To adjust manual convergence on your projection TV, follow theses steps:
  1. Turn your TV on.
  2. Let it warm up for 30 minutes.
  3. Press the Menu button on your remote. The Main menu appears.
  4. Use your remote to select Function, and then press the joystick.
  5. Select Convergence, and then press the joystick. The Manual Convergence screen appears.
  6. Select Red, and then press the joystick. A series of crosshairs appears on the screen.
  7. Select one of the outside crosshairs by moving the joystick up/down/right/left or by pressing the 2 (up), 4 (left), 6 (right), or 8 (down) buttons on your remote. The method you use depends on the model of remote you have. Note: You must do the outside crosshairs first.
  1. In the crosshair you selected, if you can see a horizontal red line, use the CH up or CH down buttons to move the line so that it is superimposed on the horizontal center line of the crosshair. Note: Make the single horizontal line as white as possible.
  1. In the crosshair you selected, if you can see a vertical red line, use the Vol + or Vol - buttons to move the line so that it is superimposed on the vertical center line of the crosshair. Note: Make the single vertical line as white as possible.
  1. Repeat for all outside crosshairs, and then for the inside crosshair.
  2. Return to the Manual Convergence Screen, and select Blue, and then press the joystick.
  3. Repeat Steps 7 through 10 for Blue.
  4. Press the Menu button on your remote to exit.
Important: The directions above work for most Samsung Rear Projection TVs. Yours may be different. For exact directions to perform manual convergence, see your user's manual. If you don't have your user's manual on hand, click HERE to view your manual on line.
If you cannot get your Projection TV to converge, it may need to be serviced. To arrange a service appointment, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-Samsung (1-800-726-7864). Have your TV's model number and serial number on hand when you call.
