My lg shine is saying that i need a PUK code how do you find that code?

you need to call customer service at 1800 331 0500 tell them you need the puk code, which is a unique number to unlock the sim card, they will ask a few numbers off the phone/sim card, they will then give you the number, also the number may be listed in your manual/papers that came with phone.

To get the PUK code for the LG Shine, you need to call 1-800-331-0500 which is customer support. Tell them you have a lg shine and need the puk code. They will ask your phone number with area code, the last 4 digits of the ss# on that account.

They will supplie the code to you and your phone will be free. If you enter in the wrong code too many times, You'll end up having to buy a New SIM Card!

The easiest way to get the PUK code is to call your service provider, such as T-Mobile or Verizon. They need to verify your cell phone number and your IMEI number and they will provide you with the PUK code.

when u enter the puk code your phone should unlock

I had a simular problem on several phone asking the Puj code. All I did was contact my provider & they will give you a code to unlock it. I hope this advice helps as it did for me. Have a nice day!
