AIR or Heat wont come on/ goodman GMP075-3

MY Goodman GMP075-3 unit will not come on. The Status light is red, I checked the fuse, and replaced the Termostat. nothing worked.

I have the same model. I disconnected the thermostat so the unit would run independently and the ignitor ignites and the fan blower comes on. I checked for frayed wires in the low voltage but didn't see any. I think checked the transformer to be good. Other than safety low voltage relays, door switches and thermal overloads, the only solution has to be the circuit board. The red light stays on constantly. I didn't see that in the code sheet. I would assume a solid 'green' light would indicate the board to be working correctly. Now who sells the boards where I won't be robbed.??

    Thanks.

If there is no blinking light, then the unit is not seeing a call for heat or cool. My guess is a lose or broken wire in the thermostat circuit. Try and putting a jumper across the red and white heat terminals inside the furnace and manually closing the door switch. If you get heat, it's telling you there is a wiring issue. If you get nothing, it's a bad circuit board.

1993 goodman status light 4 times blinking

Witch blower is running, the inducer or the systems blower?
System blower could mean the the high limit is opening and shutting down the systems gas train, I would check this out first.

The other problem could be with the pressure switch for the gas train, it is supplied from the inducer motor, check to see if it is operating fully.

HSI boards do go from time to time, this sounds more like a system control problem.

How to fix goodman furnance A30-15 the blower wont turn on ?

Check capacitor, cheap replacement and easy to do, also spin blower wheel by hand to see if it moves freely. If so could be Cap. U can also try canding blower speeds to see if one of the speeds burnt out. Warranty??

Goodman furnace model#GCH90904CXAB the red light

This model is equiped with a diagnostic error control. Take off the front panels and look for a wiring diagram pasted on the reverse side of the panels. On this diagram there will be a chart telling you what 4 blinks represent and where to start looking for the issue. I suspect the air filter may be dirty or the pressure switch may be bad, however make sure the condensate hoses are free of any debris. Good luck to you!

Wont kick wont start i see the red ligh lights blinks 2 times then 4 times what shall i do thanks

4 Flashes indicates an over heat. Either the room air blower could not push enough air over the heat exchanger due to a blocked filter or closed registers. You will need to replace one or more of the sensors to get the unit back up running. Test each sensor with an Ohm meter to find out which one blew. There may be a reset button on it if you are lucky.

My goodman air handle is run on e-heat only and will not turn off ,also the outside unit will not turn on , I put a new themostat this didn't help I have a goodman heatpump

Heat-Pumps can be temper mental. Sounds to me like your air handler is running on emergency heat, due to a problem with the condensing unit. You have heat strips in the air handler in case the outdoor temp. gets to cold and the heat pump cant keep you're home warm. Also, if you loose a compressor, it will go into emergency heat. If you have lost the compressor for one reason or another, lets say a locked rotor, the compressor would draw L.R.A. (Locked rotor amps) and cause the circuit breaker to trip. Check this.As for the air handler running all the time, you said you replaced the stat? When you removed the control wiring from the stat, did the fan shut off? I wish I were on site to help you, but all I can do is offer you some advice. With the power off to the air handler, go to the stat and remove the red and green wires. Turn power back on and see if it stops running. If it stops, then it sounds like the new stat is also faulty? If it continues to run, check the wiring in the air handler to make sure the red and green are not touching somewhere, and also check the control wiring on the outdoor unit for the same problem. Do you have any dogs that may have chewed into wiring? If so, check all outdoor t-stat wiring. There are so many things it could be and I hope very much I have helped you with solving this online, which can be difficult. You may also have a faulty defrost board. Try to do what I have asked of you.
Good Luck, Sincerely, shastalaker7

Goodman furnace

double check your wiring. R terminal on the furnace will provide 24 volts to the t-stat. W terminal in the t-stat will send 24 volts back to the furnace W terminal to turn on the heat. G terminal in the t-stat will send power to the G terminal in the furnace when the t-stat is switched to fan on. Y terminal in the t-stat will send power to the Y terminal in the furnace which in turn will send 24 volts to the A/C outside. The C terminal in the furnace should be connected to the c terminal in the A/C outside as well as to the T-stat. Check the fuse again
