How to change the drive belt on a dyson dc14 allergy vacuum

this is what is is broken it is the clutch Dyson clutch belt assembly for DC07 amp DC14 900252 04 473

most likley needs to be changed it is also a good idea to change the roller brush at this point also

Sorry to hear you're experiencing a problem with your Dyson. If your DC14 doesn't have a Brush Control option, you should be able to replace the belt yourself - you can find out how to do this here:

If your DC14 has a Brush Control, try checking for and removing anything blocking the brush bar. You can find out how to do this here:

Belt maintenance DC14 animal. Dyson would not recommend that the belt on your particular machine is replaced by anyone other than a suitably trained electrician or Dyson Service Engineer.
It is not expensive to get it done locally. If you want to know who can do it, call the free Dyson helpline on 0800 954 0154 which is open from 7am to 10pm 7 days a week or email [email protected]
When you have found someone local,you can call, ask them the cost, then make your decision.
If you already have a spare belt and feel confident to change it on your DC14, I suggest you Google for the following.
'Dyson DC14 animal change belt', where you should find it, as I did for my DC07Allergy. I found the solution AND changed my belt on about half an hour.This is not a recommendation for you to change it yourself. You do it at your own risk.

get a spare filter and when thats washed and dryed swap it over and over dont use it without a filter or you will be dusting this time next year
