Question about Digital Cameras
When turn the camera on the lens case not move forward but still make a noise. This happen after it fell down from the table. So I can not take the picures but still can view the pictures. Can this be repaired at the reasonable cost?
With a camera of his age replacing it with a second hand one would most likely be the cheapest option.
If your handy (but please note the flash circuitry has possibly lethal voltages - 300+volts) you could buy a faulty one maybe one with a broken screen and use yours to fix it, but changing the lens wont be for the faint of heart... It will mean a total strip down to remove it and really you will need to swap the sensor over else there may be problems with the calibration of colour and contrast.
Best of luck
