Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

While using closed captioning, when the program goes to a commercial, a phrase of text stays frozen on the screen. I tried changing channels and turning the tv off.

What you are seeing may be a quirk of the CC system because program content is "paused" for insertion of commercials. Think of it as a memory aid to help you remember where you were before the distracting commercials started. :-)

One caption frozen on screen

I believe this is associated with closed caption settings. This can be found in your setting menu, most likely under video. In there turn off CC.

TV turns on, but a picture from previous channel I was watching is frozen to the screen. I've unplugged cable cable card and connection to cable service and picture is still frozen on screen. Will not...

sounds like a burn-in but are you saying that you can view another picture but no clear because the previous picture is still there. A burn-in is a tv being left on a fixed object like a picture and left there so long this is what you see when you change channels the image burned on the screen, is this what you have?

We have a similar problem when changing channels/surfing, the TV will begin to power cycle, until you unplug THE CABLE TV input, then it will turn on again and stay on as you rehook the cable and change channels....till it decides to do it again, DTV channels seem to trip it up, but not sure....if I leave it on the same channel it will run for days. Yep and the cable TV is grounded outside

Cannot change channels in digital mode

Solution that worked for me:

Beware: Although the process should be safe, it technically voids your warranty.

Enter the service menu:
1 - turn of tv with remote
2 - press and release in the following order on the remote: Info, Menu, Mute. Make sure remote is pointing at the tv
3 - turn on the tv from the remote
4 - you will see the service menu. using the down arrow on the remote select the Reset option. Using the right arrow button at this point will do a hard reset.
5 - Wait a few seconds, turn TV on
6 - you will have to rescan analogue and digital channel but it should be working now.
