Red won't come off

Hi,

Please follow the below steps

1)Open the door.
2)Check the hinges and let the door be opened in half way.
3)Use Philips screw head at hinges screws.
4)remove the door and take the inner part alone.
5)Just follow the picture for more help.
Clean it and place it again.
It is very simple you can easily clean it.

Here are some solution on how to unlock the door of your oven ans do self cleaning below.

IF you can locate the model number tag (bottom left of door opening) you can look up the manual at www.geappliances.com
The only button on your stove that should make the door lock would be the clean button (self clean model) if that is pressed simply hit the clear/off or cancel key and wait for the door to unlock. YOU CAN TRY SPRAYING OVEN CLEANER INTO VENT AT THE TOP OF DOOR AND LEAVE 20 MIN THEN SPRAY WITH WATER AND TURN OVEN ON TO DRY .

LOOK FOR VENTS AT TOP OF DOOR SPRAY IN OVEN CLEANER AND LEAVE FOR 20 MIN THEN SPRAY WITH WATER AND TURN OVEN ON TO HOT TO DRY DOOR.

the oven door does lock during self clean, otherwise it will not work. however, the door is supposed to unlock after the oven has cooled. if it is still locked, turn the oven to self clean and wait about a minute and then hit cancel and see if the door unlocks. if not, there may be a probelm with the door lock mechanism.
