If the game is in ISO format you can burn it waith imgburn or clonecd. If your wanting to burn from an original then you have to network the 360 to your pc then use the 360 to rip the game to your comp as an iso format.

I burned a game for my xbox it saysplay game but it send me right back to the dashboard

Unless you've modded your xbox it will not play burned games. There's a second layer of data that burning will not add that exists on the original discs. The Xbox is looking for this second layer of data to verify that the disc is original.

How to fix laser burn

If it's scratched up then bring it to a game shop like Rock 30 Games or Gamestop and they will professionally clean the disk for 2 bucks or so.

My xbox 360, has a problem i put in a new clean disk(game) into the xbox . it is a xbox 360 game and every time i put in a new clean disk the xbox says (open tray)

The XBox 360 is a wonderful video game console, however, with heavy usage, the laser (and/or other components in the drive) will eventually burn out.

The first signs of the laser starting to burn out is that your game will start freezing during game play. Eventually the games will stop reading altogether and you will get an "OPEN TRAY" message when you put a disc in and close the tray. What this means is that the XBox 360 thinks that there is no disc in the system.

If you click into the following U.S. based website, you can find more information about this issue, the parts to fix it yourself and you can also send your XBox 360 to them to have it repaired:

Having Problems Burning Xbox 360 Games

You have to modify the firmware of your DVD drive to allow for this. It voids your warranty and is very complicated. It involves taking apart your xbox360.

Burning xbox 360 games

the short answer is no.

1st reason: macs cannot deal with all the data at once and would die.
2nd reason: there is no software as of yet to rip games without having the correct kreon drive or a 360 drive plugged into a pc.
3rd reason:i dont think macs an run 360 backup creator.

Xbox 360 unplayabledisk problem

When does this happen?  Does it happen when you put a game disk in (a game that has not been burned or copied to a dvd disk). Or does this happen when you put burned audio cd in?
