I'm not sure why you'd need to know the model number of your motherboard in order to get a USB to VGA converter working, but a utility like http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html might give you the information that you need? If that doesn't do the trick, please post a little more information about the problem you are having, since someone on this site may be able to help diagnose and solve the problem.

How much power do I need for this board?

Power Supply Calculator,

http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

A) System Type: 1 physical CPU (Processor)
B) Motherboard: High-end desktop (KN1 Extreme)
C) CPU Brand: AMD
4) CPU Socket: Socket 939

5) CPU: Lord only knows. I chose a Processor that uses Up To 89 Watts. AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 2400MHz San Diego 1.35v

6) CPU Utilization TDP: 90% TDP (recommended)
(In otherwords leave alone)

7) Overclock my CPU!: Leave alone
8) RAM: 2 sticks of DDR SDRAM

9) Video Cards;
A) Video Brand: AMD (AMD owns ATI now)
B) Video Card 1: AMD Radeon HD5450
C) Video Card 2, 3, and 4: Leave alone
D) Video Type: Leave alone
E) Physics Processing Units: Leave alone

10) Hard Drives:
A) Regular SATA: 1 HDD

11) Go to Drives;
DVD-RW/DVD+RW Drive: 2 Drives

12) Go back up to the right; PCI Cards:
I left alone. Only you know at present, if you are using one, or more of these types of PCI cards.

13) Go to Fans;
80mm / Regular / 2 Fans. (Just guess-timating)

All fields should be entered now. If not make adjustments to what I didn't know. Include in the proper field.

Now go to the bottom right, and click on - Calculate
(Calculate / Reset / Print )

I come up with 265 Watts.

Want to know EXACTLY what hardware is used inside; without opening the computer case?
Use the tiny free program, CPU-Z from CPUID.com

(Can help you download, install, and use, CPU-Z if you need.
I have used CPU-Z for years)

Hi, I have a used Sempron 3300+ cpu out of a eMachine with a bad M.B. I would like to know if this CPU is compatiable with a(Gigabyte), GA-M68MT-D3(rev.2.3) M.B.

Hi.

We are not going to be able to tell you if the CPU is compatible with the Gigabyte motherboard without knowing the make and model of the motherboard that the CPU originally came out of. If you could provide us with that information we will be able to tell you the socket type and whether or not the CPU is compatible with the Gigabyte motherboard.

It runs at first 10 mins then it suddenly turns off without warn?

hi this sounds like you might have either a overheating fault or the "switch" ( not a real switch more like a little silver tube looking item) on the motherboard may be at fault, you need to check the CPU heat sink and fan are up to the job, also check the graphics card if you have a separate one, it might be overheating, turn it on with the case open and just check the CPU fan see if is turning fast or even better still access the bios and go to the CPU utility and check the fan ratio there it shouldn't be less than 2500 to 3500 rpm depending on the board and CPU ok...hope this helps please vote thanks

Is there a way to check M/B MS6577 ver. 4.1 ,good

A motherboard whatever its age, cannot function without CPU and memory, you need at least these to test it.
If you are sure the CPU and memory are fine but the motherboard doesn't work when tested then it's dead, junk it.

If cpu fried is there any hope for motherboard

Yes there is. There is a slight possibility that the motherboard sitll works, but it is better to test it with a processor of the same type, or one that has the same socket to actually see if it works.

If you need further assistance please post.
Thank you

I have a K7VZA motherboard when i turn power on

The very first thing you need to do is unplug all drives inc power.
Now remove as many add in cards as you can without compromising the system.

Try to boot at that point.
If it boots re-connect each piece of hardware one at a time until you find one that causes a problem.
Double check that item for any issues and replaces if needed.

If you have had the fan off the cpu for any reason then you should have cleaned both the cooler fan underside and the top of the CPU and put fresh thermal grease made for that purpose on there. DO NOT use too much as that is almost as bad as too little.

Is the fan the correct type eg motherboard takes 3 pin and fan is 4 pin ?

Make sure it is connected to the CPU FAN pins on the board and not system fan.

If you have another computer and the fan can be removed from the cooler itself you could plug it into the system fan port of another computer to try it out.

under no circumstances should you run a system without the CPU cooler running as it could cause irreparable damage to the CPU
