Headphones gone quiet

I bought my headphones not even 3 weeks ago. Suddenly while I was out yesterday listening to my iPod, the sound just went like there was a huge volume cap and there was no audible bass. I've lost my receipt and fear it was £35 down the drain =/ Callum

Well, I think you've just blown them. I need more details...what music were you listening to? How loud? Etc.

Four weeks ago I bought an iPod Touch 32GB. After listening to my iPod on an external speaker I tried using the headphone and the sound is just too low. I thought my headphone was damaged but I tried it on...

Sounds like plugging the external speakers in has damage the spot were the headphones go in. If this is under warranty that bring it to apple store.

Sound fades out on both earphones

The chance of both speakers going bad at same time is remote. Your ipod is at fault and has something wrong with its output circuits. Check to make sure that there is no muting circuit inadvertently turned on.

Only Getting Sound Out Of One Ear In Headphones

go on eBay and buy a new audio jack.

I had the same issue. Gradually it became worse and worse (on the sound cutting out more frequently out of one ear or being really silent at best) and I replaced the audio jack by buying a new one on eBay. Or if you are not the do-it-your-selfer and you got money, bring it to an iPod store that preforms repairs. When you order it on ebay, if it is really cheap, it usually ships from China or something and it might take a couple weeks. But saves you some bucks!

HEADPHONES STOPPED WORKING BUT IPOD STILL WORKING

Oh, so there is no problem with the headphones. The problem is with the iPod.

There isn't going to be anyone to fix it back to normal without voiding the warranty except the Apple Corp. itself. Contact them with the details of the problem and they may ask you to send it back.

Garmin GPS - suddenly has no sound - it just cut out

1. Are you sure the volume setting is all the way up?

2. Are you sure the sound isn't muted?

3. Have you tried a pair of headphones in the headphone jack? If the headphones have sound, your internal speaker is bad. If you don't feel like sending it back for repair, you can purchase a FM transmitter like those used on IPODs and CDplayers and plug into your GPS's headphone jack and play the audio through your car's FM stereo.

4. If you don't hear sound from the headphone jack, most likely the audio output section is defective and you'll need to send it back to Garmin to be repaired.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

Good luck!

Bad connection

It sounds like you have two problems. One is your ipod earphone plug ( phono plug ) needs replacing, and # two is your headphone plug needs replacing.
