Question about Zoom ADSL 5554 X5 Router (5554-00-00)
I have connected a second pc to a Zoom ADSL 5554 X5 Router but i cant connect to the internet, any ideas on how to solve this?
First step is to restart the router, power off then on.
That will restart the DHCP server on the Router.
If the above fails, check below.
Make sure you are getting a IP address from the router.
- Start - Run - cmd - ipconfig
If not check that the DHCP service is running.
- Start - Run - services.msc
If you find that dhcp is working a your have a vaild ip address 192.168.1.2 or 192.168.2.2 something thing like this,
then go to cmd again, and try to PING the default gateway.
