Please follow the below procedure for successful installation of your printer :-
Unplug your printer from the power , also remove the USB cable from the computer by which the printer in connected to your computer.
If there is any application software that you have installed with regards to your printer please uninstall it.
After you uninstall the application and you are sure that you don't have any other software related to printer still installed, make sure that you restart your computer.
Once you restart your computer , switch on the printer by plugging it in the power socket and then connect the USB cable to the printer at one end and the computer on the other.
When you plug in the USB cable into your computer , you will find that the computer has detected a new device and then it will ask you to find the appropriate drivers for it.
Then you need to select the option which says ' choose a specific location etc...' then click browse and insert the CD/DVD that came along with the printer in the CD /DVD drive and then find the folder which contains the drivers or just select the CD Rom icon and then let the computer search for the drivers in the CD.
This will make the computer detect the driver which is most appropriate for this device and you will be asked if you are OK with continuing the installation , choose continue.
Lastly when the installation is complete, you will get a pop up at the bottom right of your screen saying that your device has been installed and is now ready to use.

Power off the printer again if you are still running into

You can print a test sheet using a word processing application (e.g.

both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer
to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
