Question about Hitachi 70VS810 70" Rear Projection HDTV
When i power up the set the 3 lights (lamp, temp, (those 2 are red) and the power light) come on then the 2 red lights go off after about a second, which is normal but the power light keeps on blinking. I had this problem 3 days ago and phoned Hitachi. I unplugged it from my panamax 5400 for a minute and then plugged back in but that didn't help. Then pissed off I went to bed. When i got up the next morning the set worked fine. I called the repair people and they told me that there wasn't anything they could do for me unless it was broke like the night before. It has worked fine for the past 3 days and now has gone out again with the same problem the power light keeps blinking. There is an eventual illumination coming from the set. It isn't bright but its there. Just now, after the TV has been off for 6 hours I went and turned it on. It worked fine for about 30 seconds and then the power light came on again picture went out, just the dull illumination and the power light keeps blinking. Any information that you could give me I would greatly appreciate. Thank you for your time.
