Sometimes you get a connection failed error message, but the camera still connects. Easiest way is to go to My Computer and see if any Removable Drives show up. If so, click on each one of them and the right one will show a folder called DCIM. Double click that folder and the one inside that called GEDSC** and you should see your pictures and video clips

Doi not type in capitals - in forum speak that is shouting. If you have the camera software loaded onto the computer un insytall it. A Windows PC does not need it. Now plug the camera in and windows wil put up the Scanner/Camera Wizard Windows can do it all by its self it really can. Consider also buying a USB card reader - much better. Download free editing/organizing software such as Irfan View and/or Picasa
