Cannot hear sound from iTunes on new computer with windows 8.1

At this point I am not sure if you can be able to here sound from any of your installed players like Windows media player or VLC or anything like that. Well if you can not here any sound coming from the computer from any of your players, then there must be a problem with the sound or audio drivers on your computer. They might have been deleted or altered in some way. You just need to go to the website for the manufacturer of your computer and download the audio drivers that are compatible with windows 8. But if you can hear sound from other players except Itunes, then I suggest that you uninstall and re-install Itunes on your computer. The case might be that the Itunes was installed with a few errors and this might cause problems like what you are experiencing now. Re installation might work

Can't tranfer songs using my windows media player

Windows Media Player is not compatible with iPhone, you have to use iTunes to manage iPhone songs. If you want to know how to transfer songs from WMP to iTunes, this guide will help you.

How do I download my 7GB iTunes music to my new Sansa 8G clip? Mac G3 OS 10.3.9.

As itunes will not or rather cannot see the Sansa clip you will need to do this manually.

Locate your itunes Folder
Example: Music/Itunes/Itunes media/Music
Once there simply copy and paste or drag and drop each album or artist folder into the clips Music folder

You could also install Windows Media Player for Mac
Once you have it installed
Clik on
Tools
Options
Clik on the Library Tab
Clik on Montitor Folders
Clik add and locate the Itunes/Itunes Media to add that path

Now whatever you add in itunes it will come across to WMP and in turn this player will see your Sansa Clip.. and you can manage it a lot easier using WMP.

Make sure to explore all the settings.. and remember if you want the album to come over from itunes to WMP you can go into these same settings and force it to update simply cliking OK in the Monitor folder settings.

If you want album art.. some may come over.. some may not.. If you must have album art.. prepare to use Amazon to copy and paste.. it's relatively quick and easy to do.

Good luck.. enjoy

I just got a coby mp3 player for my wife, but all

I-Tunes is very proprietory, the music player is encoded on an AAC codec. The coby player is going to play Mp3 codec. There is only one way to get your music off of the itunes music engine and on to your Windows Media Player, which the coby will recognize. You need to basically make cd's of your music and then reload them onto your Windows Media Player. Unless you loaded the music from your own cd's it will be an arduos task. If you loaded the music into Itunes from your own cd's then you can re-load them into WMP (Windows Media Player). I would suggest before you load the discs that you change the settings in WMP to Mp3 and not the default of WMA this just makes it more universal ... although I do believe all coby players will play WMA. But with Mp3 codec in the WMP you can encode music at a higher kbs than WMA. That is the one thing that is wrong with apple itunes is that it can only be loaded onto Ipod players..... hope this helps

I have a SANSA C250 MP3 player. Trying to sync w/ iTunes.

Put on your ipod and put them on your media player by sync. Itunes can work on the ipod so you use itunes on your ipod and get them.

Can't get itunes to download to my Phillips GO GEAR MP3

Your formating for your songs are fine. The Phillps GoGear uses mpeg as well as long as they are not AAC formating. You need to open Windows Media Player and click on the Library tab and then Add to Library. I'd recommend using the advanced tab when the window pops up. You can then tell WMP exactally where the songs are at in the itunes folder. You'll want to find out where they are at first. It should load them onto WMP from there and then you can move them to you GoGear. Enjoy.

No sound

Hello hassahabi, what I think happened to your sound is this. When the apple iTunes software installed you allowed iTunes to take over all your sound files within the system. To gain back your system sounds try this: Open windows Explorer & left click once on C:\
Once high-lighted, left click on Tools & left click the tab " File Types ". Scroll down the list to, WAV.
Left click once on WAV - wav sound. The sound file should open with Windows Media Player & not to ipod or iTunes. Click the, "Change" button. The "Open With", window will open. Find, Windows Media Player in the list. Left click once on it & than click OK. Most of windows sounds are located in the C:\Windows\Media folder. I suggest you also set MID to open with Windows Media Player.
Once finished close all opened windows & restart your system.
When windows finishes loading open the sound icon by first double left clicking the sound icon. Check that the wave slide bar is all the way up! Close that window. Now right click once on the sound icon & left click "Adjust Audio Properties". Sounds and Audio Devices Properties window will open.
See if the play button is no longer grayed out.
If it is grayed out you'll have no choice but to uninstall the apple software to free your system sounds.
Next round of ipod iTunes installation watch your screen's & choose not to allow iTunes to control, *.wav sound files.

Good luck hassahabi!
