Having unsuccessfully sent this in for repair twice to TomTom, my 920 suffers from the same problem: the GPS Antenna ceases working after about 30-60 minutes of use. The black/orange circle indicating that the GPS Antenna is functioning no longer turns--resetting the device, ensuring it's fully charged, and installing the latest version of software has no effect.

In blackberry "setup bluetooth" menu, have your phone look for a device. Once the Blackberry 8100 sees the GO 920, hit the BB button, go to the "options" and ensure that your "Discoverable" is set to YES. Then pair from your GO 920.

I have this same problem, sent it for repair, they sent me a new one, now this has the same problem again. Worked one day, then stopped, will not power up..I tried charging 12 hrs, resetting, etc

Hi RPSS,
Make sure the Tomtom unit is properly seated in the cradle and that there are no velcro strips etc preventing it from pushing down fully into the socket (if improperly seated the unit can still charge, and sometimes ask for a connection, but won't be able to connect properly to the computer).

well the reset button is behind the front face cover. However I doubt this will do much for you.
Reasons for not connection.
1) Battery is too low and needs full recharge via AC adapter
2) Poor position or being overshadowed by buildings or other electronic devices
3) Dead SIIRF chip caused by starting motor with the GPS plugged to DC power. Might work a 100 times without problem 101 kills it. The whole mother board needs to be changed. Cost often exceeds value.
No device should be connected when staring engine. Even a fused DC adaptor somketimes does not blow the fuse when spiked and will allow enough spike to pass to kill this delicate echip. Even mobile phones will suffer this problem pooof! gone within 10 seconds!
The eraticness may be a faulty charged batterty but I doubt it.
