Try cleaning the system.
Get a can of dust remover and thoroughly blow out the system.
MAKE SURE NOT TO SHAKE THE CAN OR TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN THIS WILL CAUSE FREEZING LIQUID TO BLOW OVER THE SYSTEM POSSIBLY CAUSING DAMAGE!!!
You will also need a laser lens cleaning kit, both of these items can be purchase @ Wal Mart, Kmart or Target for about $25.00

Hi...
Get a can of Dust-off ( compressed CO2)
Staples and walmart sell them.
Blow out in the insides of the unit anywhere you can get the sprayer stick into. Esp. the small square vent holes in the base.

i beleive it is a memory stick problem. try installing a game on a different memory stick, and if it doesn't work, you'll just have to buy a new psp or not download games. also, you can try going on www.us.playststion.com/support, or call sony tech support
