Question about Pioneer AVIC-N2 Car DVD Player

1 Answer

Pioneer touch screen dvd/cd player

My truck wouldn't start tonight so when I was trying to start it my touch screen kept popping up and going back in while trying to start my truck. When it finally did start the radio came on, on the cd player but the screen didn't pop back out. I tried several times pressing the open button but the screen still won't pop open. What can or should I do ?

Press the reset button. It is the tiny button flush to the surface on the top right hand of the faceplate. Goodluck.

there is a safety brake wire that needs to be hooked up. If it was installed professionally, have them explain it to you. There is not supposed to be any video players in view of the driver while in motion. Stop your car and put on the parking brake. If you installed it yourself, you probably didnt hook up the wire. Look inthe install manual for DVD safety wire.

You can't. The next upgrade disc (red) only works on newer, touch-screen models.
