It seems you have a very bad problem with humidity beyond what would be considered normal. The source of the excessive level of moisture in the area you are trying to cool must be found and eliminated or reduced.

Some units have a place where an external drain can be connected and routed to a drain at a lower level. And no it should not damage your A/C. part of air conditioning is removing moisture from the air. The moisture must be removed in order for the air to be cooled to a lower temperature. Enthalpy of air (total heat content) is directly related to the grains of moisture in a given quantity of air. The bucket or tank has a full switch, if not drained out it does shut the unit down.

I bought a DeLonghi PACC120E portable a/c with no manual. The unit does not cool, and it dumps water. How do I get it to blow cool air?

I would drain the water out of the machine via the plug on the back once the unit is drained turn on, wait a few minutes. If compressor does not come on or comes on and does not cool, you need service beyond diy.

I have a portable M6o9P09D2B. ive had it for about two years. I runit constantly its a great unit. 3months ago its just stopped working it will blow cool for about a minute and then itbreaks down grinds...

The capacitor may possibly be the problem. If you have a capacitor checker you can check it that way. If not, a capacitor is a low cost item and just cheaper to get a good capacitor and see if that solves the problem.

I am NOT aquainted with the Maytag Portable AC..... But There has to been a sensor that tells the unit that the water bin is full...... If there is any moisture on the sensor and touching a ground probe then even though the bin is empty the sensor is still making a connection to ground. If you can trace out the wire that goes to the sensor you can unplug it from the board till it dries out or you replace it..... Only if you do make sure you empty the bin often or you will have water every where because the unit won't shut off if the water bin is full..... Hope this helps

Wont no water to empty or drain

Either the unit is really dirty or it is low on refrigerant. A unit tha is low on refrigerant will start off cold and withing a few minutes, start warming up. If you aren't seeing any water its because of one or both causes listed.

Portable a/c water problems

either the area you are cooling is extremely humid or your a/c is freezing up, shutting off  and melting alot of ice before it comes back on.
