It can be issue with IAC( idle air control valve) causing the problem.

The automatic idle control valve may need cleaning.

Whenever you have this kind of problem you must get the system computer scanned for any poss problems, the idle is controlled by a computer and is fully automatic.

remove the memory clean it with an eraser

The beeps you refer to are known as "computer beep codes" and may also be known as "computer post codes" although they are in fact slightly different with the post code being the more technically descriptive of the two.

These are very descriptive and can tell you exactly where to home in on the problem.

In the back of your manual should be a list of these beeps and if you listen very carefully the are quite similar to morse code. Its this distinction the gives you the information. If its not there then you should go here

Check the IAC .....the idle air control......and remember these computers need to relearn the idle speed.....after a repair....if it's an automatic....put it against something solid in gear and let it sit there for a few mins without holding the brake after giving the IAC a good cleaning or possibily installing a replacement IAC.

The problems origin is in the fuel delivery system take it to Auto zone have them read any OBD II codes stored in the computer for a more detailed description of what is going on.
