I see, it sounds like the battery has failed in the device, which is pretty common on Garmin units, I have personally had a few that have had batteries just go out on them. It shows in your question that you are asking about a Garmin Forerunner 405, I can't imagine that is correct, is it? It's probably a GPS system you are referring to? If so, what is the model number of the system?

Let me know, just reply here and I can tell you how to fix it.

Thanks
Tim

Ok in that case, you will need one of these batteries here, may as well buy the two pack just in case you need to ever do it again, and it's only $2.80 with free shipping:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002DS...

Plus you will need a jeweler's style Philips head and flat head screw driver, you can buy this set here that has everything for $4.40 with free shipping:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000X1G...

    Then follow these steps:

    1. Remove the 4 screws holding on watch back plate

    2. Remove the metal back plate

    3. Carefully peel the white sticker off the back of the battery,
paying attention to the orientation of the sticker. Along with a small
strap, this sticker helps hold the battery in place.

    4. Place the watch face down and familiarize yourself with the
parts. The battery is held on by a metal strap. At one end of the strap
is a small brass spring. Position the watch so that the spring is
sitting towards you at the bottom left.

    5. Insert a small jewelers flat head screwdriver behind the top
clip and pry gently to release it. The clip and the clear plastic
      backing should slide off.

    6. Place the plastic backing, with the clip still on top of it
on the table, keep it oriented in the same position it was on the watch

    7. Replace the battery and lay the clear plastic backing and clip on top of it.

    8. Hook the bottom left of the clip on the battery and press the
top right clip back down to hold the new battery in place. Be careful
not to move or cover the brass spring. There is only one right way to
position the plastic backing so that the spring is not covered.

    9. Replace the white sticker over the clip. Do not cover the brass spring.

    10. Place the back onto the watch and screw the top right and bottom left screws in place.

    11. Turn the watch over and verify that the View, Mode,
Start/Stop and Lap Reset buttons are all working properly. If they are
not, remove the watch back and verify that you have the clip and plastic
      backing placed correctly

    12. Put in the last two screws

Thanks much! Let me know if you have more questions.

    Tim

To replace the batter you must put it upside down and remove the back cover. Underneath you will find the battery. Remove it and replace it with an exactly the same one. You will have to take it to the store to get another of the same specifications.

My phones are going blank on screen after I dial out or while dialing.

While the screen goes blank, does it drop the call? Are the handsets fully charged, or are they on the charging dock whenever they are not in use?

The batteries may need to be replaced. Bad batteries can in some cases cause the phone features to not fully work. They are located in the back, bottom of the handset.

The power on the Panasonic Palmcorder IQ PV-A206 turns itself off. I've tried plugging directly and with a fully charged battery, no luck.

please make this test and fix it. God bless you

If the video camera doesn't work, make sure the battery is charged (see The Battery Recharger Fix-It Guide) or replace a battery that won't hold a charge. Make sure the AC adapter is connected properly. Clean any dirty contacts on the battery, charger, and AC adapter with a cotton swab dipped in denatured alcohol. Remove corrosion with a clean pencil eraser, then wipe the area with an artist's brush to remove any debris. Find and test the fuse, if any.
If the power goes off soon after starting, recharge a low battery. Also, turn the video camera power off, then turn it back on and eject the tape. If the problem persists, check the fuse
If the battery won't charge, clean the contacts and fully discharge the battery, then recharge it. If the problem persists, replace the battery

If the video camera works intermittently, remove and reseat the to establish good contact. If necessary replace the fuse
