Question about Heritage Pool and Cover Pump
Theres nothing wrong with the pump! i have a 2008 model and it does not turn off until it is done cycling (stays on low). This may be 15 minutes after you try to turn it off depending on the power mode you have ST is standard and will run the pumps more even when you are not in it.

If you have a timer and it is on a maintenance cycle that will keep it on low, A freeze control that will keep it on under about 38 degrees. If the thermostat is controlling the pump it will keep it running also. If it has a cool down mode to let the heater cool that will keep it running. These are some reasons it will stay on and their may be more. I would turn the thermostat down and if it's cold out run a heater under the cabinet and make sure that no timer is controlling the pump. Set it to low and walk away for half an hour if it won't shut down turn it up to high and back down again. One of these low speeds should be off. Good luck.
