    hi
my cyberhome is having some problems when i put it on it show a lighting that is orange, never turn to Green either operated from remote or the on/off switch. It happened just 2 days before. before that it was working fine.

plug into ac outlet and the STANDBY/POWER LED shows an amber/orange light whereas it is supposed to be either: green=power on, or red=standby/off. Pressing the POWER button on either the unit or the remote does nothing at all. What to do?

I have the same problem. The player worked fine, then we moved. When we hooked it back up again, the light flashes orange, no response to any button-pushing, no picture on the TV, but we get a clicking sound at the same speed as the orange flashing. I have no idea what Solution 1 means.

The problem is in the power supply board, usually caused by one or more open capacitors, sometimes leaving a bulge at the top.

Cyberhome player will not turn on--

I had the same problem, only the LED stayed light red/orange and nothing worked. With the unit unplugged, first try to manually eject the DVD by sliding the plastic tab in the slot on the bottom in the direction indicated by the arrow. Leave the tray extended and plug back in. Or, with the unit unplugged, press and hold the Eject button and then plug back in. If none of those work and the fuse is good, check this site: http://www.drx9000repair.netfirms.com/#Cyberhome%20CH%20300
Mine had a low 5V supply. I did the change to the PC board as shown on this site and added a ~90K resistor from ZD2 to U3 and viola it fixed the problem!!

Not sure, but I believe the 2.75 volts you have should be 5.0 volts.
May want to check capacitors on power supply.
The output connector on the supply may also be labeled with
the correct volatges for reference. COnstant orange light may be
indicating the +5v is low.
