Will my acerscan 310P scanner work on my XP computer?
I've had my acerscan 310P scanner for a while--but have never attempted to hook up and install it on my Pentium 4 Processor 530 with Windows XP. Is it possible for my 310p scanner to work on my computer? Can you tell me how to hook it up and install the scanner?

*Follow this link from Microsoft to download the latest driver. *This page provides a list of Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) devices with built-in drivers in the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. There is no need for additional drivers to get the WIA experience out of the box when installing these devices. *For up-to-date drivers for specific devices, see Microsoft Update.

But if Windows is not finding your scanner (does not ask for the driver files), you have a communication problem , probably with the parallel port.
have an Acer Flatbed Scanner Model 310P. I've had it for a few years and I really like this scanner. I just purchased a new computer and it has Windows xp as the Operating System. I cannot get the computer to recognize the drivers. How do I download the correct drivers?
