I checked your monitor and judging by the picture, it requires an specific ac adapter. see photo below to see if this is what you see:

Power cord - 2edb0f8.jpg I show the spare part for this ac adapter is 308573-001. it runs approx $45 on google. Hope this helps.

Go to the electronics store, show them your monitor, then they should tell you what cord you can use.

I cannot find the power cord to my monitor. Where can I get a new one?

The power cord can be purchased at a computer shop of your choice, standard 3 pin power cable. Same as that used for the power to your computer.

L5006tm replacement Power Cord

I looked at the QuickSpecs and it looks like a standard power plug and USB cable that you can pick up at a local computer shop. Nothing special that you have to order.

Please gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
Thank you.

radio shack would be my starting point. if there are any computer solutions or stores in your area go in and ask em if they have a used power cord should be the same as the power cord for the tower itself.

Need new power cord for x2gen monitor

You should be able to go to any local store like BestBuy and pick up a power cable. The monitor uses the same power cable as a Desktop PC.

Good luck!

Your C5707 transistors in the monitor have failed. Suggest replacing all four with the Sanyo C5707 transistor. A common problem.

Need new power cord

Elizabeth, I poked around last night but couldn?t find an absolute answer to your question so I didn?t post an answer. Since no one else has answered it I?ll share my best guess. Your monitor probably uses a standard 110v power cable. Take a look at your power socket on the monitor and compare it to this picture on Ebay and chances are good the socket end will match your monitor. http://cgi.ebay.com/Computer-power-cords-110V-10A-IEC-C-13-lot-of-10_W0QQitemZ190083846330QQihZ009QQcategoryZ45342QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Your video cable may be a little trickier. Assuming your monitor and your computer video card both have standard 15 pin VGA sockets (?D? shaped connector about 1? long with three rows of little holes) this cable listed on Ebay or one like it will work for you. http://cgi.ebay.com/6FT-VGA-SVGA-COMPUTER-MONITOR-CABLE-HIGH-QUALITY-LCD_W0QQitemZ280083462294QQihZ018QQcategoryZ41999QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem If these don?t match the connector ends on your monitor let us know, and as always please don?t forget to rate this posting.
