Question about Virtual Reality VRCD500-SDU CD Player

VR500CS-BT hi, i have a problem with the display...it all lights up but the problem is that " it all lights up". no change in station of any of the sort...the radio plays otherwise. The only thing i didn't do was hook up the white wire, that the manual says to hookup to the dimmer switch....i think that might be the problem..but i don'k know where to hook it up to...

    These VR-3 tech support guys are F@4king idiots!!!!!......the whole tech support section needs to be restaffed with people who actually give a damn about the company and its customers!!!

    yea i have a suggestion.....F@ck tech support...! those guys are incompetante unprofessional @ssholes...send it back to where you bought it from tell them it doesn't work and that you wanta refund...if they refuse threaten to file a complaint with the Better Buisness Bureu...they jumped through hoops for me after months of no support from them.....



    i say again....don't bother with tech support....e-mial the vendor you bough it from requesting a refund for a defective product...



    by the way....let me guess the remote doesnt work either .....right!?





    go get a name brand radio....i went with a alpine from best buy...its got the usb aso...

How do i preset my stations on my deh-p400ub? thanks in advance


Here's the relevant instructions out of the manual.
Storing and recalling broadcast frequencies You can easily store up to six broadcast frequencies for later recall. ! Six stations for each band can be stored in memory. 1 Press LIST. Preset screen is displayed. 2 Use MULTI-CONTROL to store the selected frequency in memory. Turn to change the preset number. Press and hold to store. # You can also store the frequency in memory by pushing and holding MULTI-CONTROL right. 3 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select the desired station. Turn to change the station. Press to select. # You can also change the station by pushing MULTI-CONTROL up or down. # To return to the ordinary display, press BAND/ESC or LIST. # If you do not operate the list within about 30 seconds, the display automatically returns to the ordinary display.

Face inop lights work no display


check the wiring harness most new headunits have a wire for ignition but not many cars have it by joining this wire to the live should sort the problem

Manually change radio stations?


Here is how to manually tune your radio.
1 Press the SOURCE button until a radio
frequency appears in the display.
2 Press the BAND button repeatedly until the
desired radio band is displayed.
Each press changes the band:
→ F1(FM1) → F2(FM2) → AM
3 Press the TUNE button repeatedly until "DX
SEEK" and "SEEK" disappear from the display.
NOTE
The initial mode is DX SEEK.
4 Press the g DN or f UP button to move
downward or upward one step respectively until
the desired station frequency is displayed.
NOTE
The ST indicator or STEREO indicator appears on the
display when a Stereo FM station is tuned in

It's a bit too late but now only I'm seeing this!

It's in blackout mode!
Press and hold the FUNC key for at least 2-3 secs to activate and deactivate!



BTW, do any of u have a broken unit or a DC/DC converter for this! The small box connected to the end of the green/blue cable.

Installing VR500CS-BT


Yes. You can install ANY stereo with just two speakers. Just make sure you have the other two output wires taped off real good.
