Hiya, Ive just replaced the heat and pressure rollers in a 7020 copier, (used to work in the industry and lost my manual/notes) its coming up with 34-1 which I thought was go into 25mode reset bit 3-1 to off, now its coming up with f34-1 and f34-4 Ive rechecked the thermistor there was a tweak to ensure the left hand one wasnt rubbing onthe new roller, and the right pair of sensors look clean but now its not going away, would that suggest the left one is faulty? Havent replaced the right pair yet although I do have a set. Any ideas?
Thanks Steve

If your pair of thermistors has white wiring instead of yellow (improved), replace the set with the latest part number, 26NA88013. The "left" one, is called a "thermostat", but is really a safety fuse. It should read dead short.

While taking test nr 6 I have noticed a colors displacement which sometimes is larger, sometimes is narrower, thus its dimensions are not constant.
Among the solutions I have resorted to were:
- ITB (which I cleaned);
- changed the reader unit afterwards;
- checked the mechaism responsible for the drums unit rotation.
None of the above solutions worked.
I would be extremely grateful for any hint or advice.
