Every time i start playing a game, about one minute into it, the game freezes. the screen stays, no sound, no error code. the tray still can come out and only the power symbol (no controller indicators) is lit. i turn it off, then back on and the same thing happens over and over. when the controller vibrates as it freezes, the controller continues to vibrate as well.

This is called lockup aka freezing. The problem is
caused by a open connection from the C.P.U. to the
G.P.U. and it should happen even on the dashboard
with out a game being played.

The Fix is to have both the G.P.U. and the C.P.U. reflowed
and properly clamped. cost 50.00-80.00 .

check to see if it locks up ( freezes on the menu screen after
10-15 min ) just to confirm my suspicions.
