you have to run a sensor test so the system will recoginize the new battery, open keypad cover type in your code press test till it says "sensor test" once it runs through all points press done, now reset your panel disarm code disarm

I have the same Security System the same problem, with the 2 beeps every couple of hours .
The Control Center called and said the battery on the door connector was low and that was the cause of the beeps not the entire system, I replaced with 2 triple A batteries and no more beeps.

temperature affects batteries. if the batteries on the window sensors have been in use for some time it is probably time to change them. Alarm batteries are only expected to last 3 to 5 years with moderate use. If you have close neighbors or live in an apartment complex then false reads could be a factor.
